Matt Damon is standing by his good pal and fellow actor Ben Affleck.
The star spoke about how he shows great sympathy for Affleck and Jennifer Lopez as they’re being hunted by the media in regards to details of their personal life.
The actor made the shocking comments while reflecting on how he’s managed to live a very private life, despite being in the spotlight all the time.
To that, he explained how it’s insane how some actors are bombarded with the press and rumors of all kinds. Both paparazzi and fans are constantly following your every move and it’s hard to be in that position.
‘I was lucky to be not in the same position as them. I can never imagine living like that. It’s hard and my love and support go out to them. Leave them alone, it’s so invasive to intrude on their personal life- the star continued.
‘I have been so lucky because if I had that kind of scrutiny, I would never be able to live like that’- he added.
The news comes as Ben Affleck celebrated his birthday today amid claims of filing for a divorce. His wife refused to wish him publicly and therefore was spotted attending a music concert by Bruno Mars where she danced the night away.
