Her mother has long mentioned how she needs help and has been wanting to give her daughter the assistance she needs in the form of therapy.
After fury emerged about her not being Madeleine, many demanded that she apologize to the McCanns for causing them so much emotional trauma and turmoil.
Many people felt that the family has already been through so much and to live with that pain all over again and have hopes that their missing daughter could actually still be alive is just the worst thing that anyone could ever do.
The statements mentioned in the apology are a little controversial as Julia says she never intended to bring forward any sort of sadness to anyone including the McCanns. She simultaneously denied that she was Maddie.
“I never said that I was Madeleine!”- and that had people in shock as it was not only shocking or perplexing to hear her say this despite all the claims she made in the past.
