The remains of a missing grandmother were recently found after investigators confirmed the cause of death as falling through a massive 30-foot sinkhole.
Elizabeth Pollard was reported missing by loved ones and that had the state police in Pennsylvania actively searching for her whereabouts.
The search came to a tragic and abrupt end after Pollard’s remains were found inside the sinkhole after a long four-day search.
Her body was located at about 11 am local time on Friday and the news was given to loved ones who were struck were grief. Clearly, this is not the news they were hoping to hear.
More details were shared with her loved ones by a State Trooper and others spoke about being relieved to provide complete closure for Pollard’s loved ones.
The officials failed to give an immediate response to media outlets regarding the incident.
Sources shared how the victim was reported missing by her loved ones who stated that she was out searching for her beloved cat.
She went off during the early hours but never returned which had her loved ones concerned. Her little granddaughter went with her and she was found inside her car, fast asleep.
