World famous ski sensation Jean Daniel Pession has reportedly passed away alongside his girlfriend Elisa Arlian.
The pair died tragically after falling 2000 feet off of a mountain in Italy.
The duo were said to have been on a hike on Mount Zerbion which is said to be a famous Alpine spot for skiers today in the Aosta Valley.
The rescue team that was sent out to look for them mentioned how the pair had not returned for a while and there was no response being generated from their devices.
This is when people knew that something was up. Hence, the team searched and searched frantically for hours, only to come across their dead bodies in the mountains.
The families contacted the authorities on this matter and that’s when a team of helicopters and firefighters were dispatched into the area to look for them.
Their parents mentioned how the news of the pair’s bodies being found dead and buried in the snow was a nightmare come to life.
Falling 2300 feet was a lot and it was right near the summit. A signal generated from one of their devices is what assisted in the search mission and that’s when they found the pair still tied together, making it an absolute devastation of a sight to witness live.
