The journey to the Titanic, operated by OceanGate, started on Sunday morning but only an hour and 45 minutes later, the submersible stopped sending notifications to the surface.

Rescuers are now facing a race against time because of the limited amount of oxygen onboard and there has been no communication with everyone on board.
