A renowned social media influencer is making plenty of heads turn after she traveled to Turkey to get her smile transformed.
While the thought of undergoing a cosmetic procedure definitely brings anxiety to so many people, this woman had no idea about what was coming her way. And that included a frightening scare from her dentist that she’s now sharing with the world to help raise awareness.
Jak Reid who has more than 70,000 followers works as an influencer where people adore seeing her lifestyle and the way she carries herself in her normal life. Therefore when this young woman ventured out to Turkey to get a new set of teeth, people were more excited about her journey than ever.
Think along the lines of spending a staggering 3000 Pounds on a new pair of teeth that she got done in Turkey. And while the beaming white crowns looked picture-perfect, they were more than just that.
Reid who hails from Scotland says she paid the hefty amount for her teeth and for her expensive travel tickets and accommodation but never did she know that the response she would receive would be anything like what she did.
Sharing a clip on her platform, Reid put up an alarming post about where her dentist reacted to her teeth. She even commented a ‘Bless her, she’s too sweet’ note attached with it.
“I am just going to say this to you loud and clear. I know you might not want to hear this. However, a lot of tissue was removed over here. And the risk that these types of problems come with is pretty high”- she continued.
The Dentist says that the change is not only irreversible, but she also risks losing all of her teeth and if things take a turn for the worse, the only way out is dental implants.
While the influencer claims she knew about the risks, she had no clue they could be so great and hence is asking others to beware and think twice before such procedures.
