It’s been a controversial FIFA World Cup in Qatar so far and we’ve noticed a lot of soccer fans having trouble digesting the fact that booze isn’t widely available in the nation.

Seeing the country’s ruling government suddenly take a U-Turn and opt to ban alcohol really had supporters in a frenzy as many do associate a strong bond between booze and watching sports.

This next story is about an avid booze and sports enthusiast who ventured out on a quest to find alcohol. But little did he or anyone else know that they’d end up in a location that was remarkably different from where they originally intended.

Recently, the duo was seen speaking for an exclusive interview with talkSPORT and that’s when they mentioned how things really took an unexpected turn as they started to explore the streets shortly after landing in the country’s capital city of Doha.

While one fan mentioned how they were just having so much fun, another couldn’t help but mention how it was so hard to find liquor. And for that, they’ve been traveling miles on foot as it’s not widely present.

But then all of a sudden, they happened to stumble upon the country’s ruler’s sons, better known as the Sheikh’s Sons.

After the encounter with the member of the royal family, the duo asked if they knew where the beers were and that’s when the Sheikh asked him to hop inside his vehicle. He took them straight to his palace and showed them a lot of fascinating things.

This includes baby lion cubs that they still can’t seem to get over.

There were some exotic bird species and monkeys too inside and all of that just blew his mind. After all, a hunt of beer landed these two into a palace of luxury and comfort.
