Actress Meryl Streep is feeling the heat from her fans who think the star needs to stop with the antics and start acting her age.

The news comes after the celeb was seen putting up an animated display of nothing but love and affection for fellow actor Martin Short in public. This came just days after we saw her mention how the dating rumors between her and Short were nothing but misleading, shutting them down.

Fans got excited after seeing the duo get close and comfortable at this year’s Golden Globe Awards. They speculated that something was going on between the 74-year-old actress and the 73-year-old star. But Short was quick to shoot down the claims that nothing was true and that they were just great friends.

Now that they have denied all the dating rumors, it’s shocking to see them appear closer than ever. And people cannot stop talking.

It’s not quite clear what sort of bond or friendship this pair may have but one thing is for sure, fans are looking for an explanation as this is not normal from Streep.
