A shocking incident has unfolded at a diversity festival in Germany.
An unidentified knifeman was seen taking to the streets and storming the festival, killing three people and injuring dozens of others.
The terrified crowd was informed by the event’s organizers that they needed to keep calm and not panic as the killer was still on the run.
The event organizers were blasted for their lack of sensitivity regarding the situation as many felt a lot more empathy could have been displayed, considering the killer could be amongst the crowd of people.
Five of the injured are said to be in critical condition as they battle for their lives at a nearby hospital. The stabbing incident has spread fear amongst locals while others called it the most brutal and senseless attack to disturb peace and harmony in the country.
The exact location of the stabbing was said to be in the western German city of Solingen as reported by the cops.
One of the festival organizer’s videos is now going viral on social media as he takes the stage and tells the crowd to be calm and keep their eyes open because ‘unfortunately’ the killer is yet to be caught.
