Donald Trump just shared that the Pentagon will be awarding a mega $20B contract to Boeing to develop the military’s next high-tech fighter jet.
This will be named after the US President, sources have confirmed.
The bizarre announcement was made by Trump himself at the White House yesterday where he mentioned that the F-4 plane was named after himself.
To make it sound even more cringe, he shared how the name was selected by the generals and the number is beautiful. Trump also didn’t hold back in terms of speaking about how people started to question if this plane would never be needed.
He explained how the jet is massive and overpowers the capabilities of every other country out there today.
It’s also expected to assist the army counter adversaries including China, which have massively boosted its defense capabilities in recent times.
Trump adds how the jet would entail the state-of-the-art stealth technology and feature the most unprecedented power.
America’s enemies will never see it coming, he continued and if that happens then they will never know what hit them, he adds.
The NGAD program will feature a crewed aircraft that’s designed to combat alongside other drones. The alert comes after Trump was working to slash federal spending. He even signed an executive order seeking to dismantle the Department of Education.
