US Vice President JD Vance has made it very clear that the US needs Greenland and how the race continues to accept it.
The politician shared his thoughts on how American leadership was facing great competition with other countries during his recent visit to the region, adding how a failure to annex it could mean others take charge.

‘We need to ensure that the US is leading in the Arctic because we know that if the US doesn’t, other countries would fill that gap’- Vance shared on Friday.
Vance added how other countries are making this decision based on their own interests, and the US plans to do the same, which is to make sure that its homeland is safe and sound at all times.
‘America needs to make sure that it’s leading in the Arctic because we know that if it doesn’t, then someone else will and we cannot afford that!’- he added.
He also mentioned how other countries are competing to fill the gap, with great importance given to the Chinese and Russian delegations.
His remarks come amid the reviewed American efforts under Trump to take over the country against the will of its own people.
Trump was blasted by the citizens for sending his Vice President and Second Lady on a trip where they were certainly not welcomed with open arms.
