Ellen DeGeneres has cut ties with her homeland after selling one of her final properties following her permanent move to the United Kingdom.
The former television host set up a camp in the English countryside with her partner by her side. The pair have so far enjoyed their time there and have no plans to return back.
This is now confirmed as she just sold her final US property after purchasing a mega $18B farmhouse in the Cotswolds.
DeGeneres who once boasted about a mega real estate portfolio in America mentioned during the month’s start how she sold her two-bedroom and two-bathroom home that’s located in Montecito California.
Despite this, it’s not been smooth sailing for the couple. They were seen clashing with their neighbors who are located in the UK over an extension at the multimillion-dollar residence.
While it’s not clear why the duo decided on Cotswolds to begin with, we have to mention that a reason might have to do with the fact that the place is picturesque and a wealthy region in the UK with many leading celebs from Britain buying country homes there. This includes the likes of David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, and Jeremy Clarkson.
