JUST IN: Final ‘Ping’ Of The Missing TITANIC Submersible Reveals Its Last Known Movements Before It ‘Vanished’


As the search for the missing Titanic submersible, known as Titan, continues, experts are searching the sub’s final ping which reveals its last known movements before it disappeared.

The U.S. Coast Guard leads the rescue operations to find the vessel that went missing on Sunday morning while on a journey to the Titanic wreckage.

Five people are inside the submersible, which is built to withstand a depth of up to 13,120 feet.

The last ping provided by Titan shows its last known location.

The vessel reportedly sent a ping back to its mother ship, Polar Ship, which followed its position. But after an hour and 45 minutes, Titan stopped sending alerts.

According to the Times, the vessel’s final alert showed that it was directly above the Titanic wreckage at around 10am on Sunday.

In a press conference, Coast Guard Capt. Jamie Frederick said that the ‘incredibly complex operation’ has not yet yielded positive results.

OceanGate has released a statement on social media, which read: “We are exploring and mobilizing all options to bring the crew back safely.

“Our entire focus is on the crewmembers in the submersible and their families. We are deeply thankful for the extensive assistance we have received from several government agencies and deep sea companies in our efforts to reestablish contact with the submersible.

“We are working toward the safe return of the crewmembers.”

Those onboard the expedition, which is now in its third year of operation, pay $250,000 each for the privilege to see the Titanic up close.

Onboard the missing vessel are British billionaire Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, founder and CEO of OceanGate Stock Rush, and French pilot Paul-Henry Nargeolet.
