A tragic incident unfolded recently in Thailand when a private plane carrying tourists to an island reportedly crashed and fell to the ground, before erupting into a massive fireball.
As many as seven people are now feared dead as well as two pilots when it crashed into a swamp as per local media outlets.
The passengers were flying from Bangkok airport to another southwestern coastal region that’s famous for its beaches.
But their dream vacation into an absolute nightmare as the group was heading towards the Trat province which is located close to 170 miles away from when the plane struck the ground.
It burst into a huge array of flames at the mangrove forest in the Chachoengsao province, a little short of 3:30 pm local time. Locals spoke about how a loud sound was heard from miles away.
They rushed to see if there were any survivors but unfortunately, that was not the case. Harrowing scenes showed their belongings scattered across the ground.
Emergency efforts were made but it was in vain as no one was alive and only charred bodies were discovered. An investigation into the cause of the crash is now taking place as loved ones mourn the sudden and tragic loss.
