Shocking new reports are speaking about how 24 hours before the collision of the American Airlines flight with a Army Black Hawk arose, another plane had narrowly missed a catastrophe of a similar kind.
The news comes after the FAA has now banned helicopters from flying too high and also barred them from flying to the same region where the crash took place.
Another jet was said to be making attempts to land but had to make a second approach after a helicopter suddenly appeared near its flight path, local media outlets have confirmed.
That plane did land safely and was outlined to be a Republic Airways Flight 4514. Officials are now speaking about how there are no survivors from the crash that arose on Wednesday and investigators are trying to piece the mystery back again.
Teams are still recovering bodies from the river and the black boxes and flight recorders were also discovered. However, it might take weeks before the flight recorders can be accessed as they are said to be tampered with due to water contamination.
