More than 12 people were injured after a Korean Air flight hit severe turbulence across the weekend.
The incident sent passengers crashing down to the ground and many hit overhead bins while food was witnessed flying around the cabin.
The chaos was real as the flight carrying 281 passengers had to go through some very rough weather conditions without any prior warning.
It took off from Seoul’s Incheon Airport on Sunday and around ten people and four flight attendants were said to have suffered serious injuries on their back and neck.
The flight was on its way to Mongolia when all of a sudden, it began to shake violently. This was for a rough 15 seconds during the meal service offering.
Many could hear screaming as feelings of fear and horror filled up others’ minds. All passengers were advised to remain seated to avoid further injuries but the horrifying aftermath could be seen in the images published shortly afterward.
One of the passengers is said to have bounced so high, slammed into the ceiling, and then dropped into the aisle.
The turbulence reported started around the time that people began eating. The flight suddenly plunged and all the meals were knocked over, another witness mentioned.
