Passengers aboard a Qatar Airlines flight from Doha to Dublin are detailing their horror flight experience that left 12 injured and eight hospitalized.
Sources from local media outlets confirm how the plane suddenly went down hundreds of feet without any kind of warning.
This resulted in 12 people getting hurt in the act, eight of whom were shifted to the nearby hospital upon arrival at the destination in Dublin.
The pilot is said to have reacted slowly and kept passengers in fear as he only mentioned, ‘We are assessing the situation and trying to figure out what to do next’. But that was the only thing mentioned by him.
Many felt that this was the end and others started to scream and cry in fear and panic. Those injured were mostly crew members who were not seated and therefore busy in serving the guests aboard with food and drink.
One witness described the horror as seeing the crew fly in the air and hit the ceiling, very similar to the incident that arose a few days back with Singapore Airlines.
“There was panic everywhere. Food and drinks were scattered everywhere and some were injured while others had their clothing ripped. It’s so important to be seated at all times unless necessary and to continue wearing the seat belt, no matter what”- the passenger explained.
Some of the crew members had scratches on their faces while others were forced to walk out with ice packs and then some were seen limping due to the aftermath. Still, the crew remained calm and tried to assist all passengers throughout the remainder of the journey, another added.
