Flying is never easy but one couple says what they recently endured on an Air France flight has left them unable to sleep.
The duo spoke about how they were all seated and ready for takeoff but soon afterward, they called the cabin crew members as a very disturbing and peculiar smell hit them.
It was similar to that of manure and the couple added how this was not how they planned on spending the news few hours mid-air so they asked what it was, only to realize the horror that was the truth.
Right beneath their seats was a huge pool of blood and just the thought of seeing that has some people in shock because it was the last position anyone would ever wish to be in.
One of the passengers happened to speak to CNN recently and that’s where they shed light on how they’ve been an army veteran that has lived through some brutal battles and wars and airstrikes.
Hence, he’s seen a lot of blood. But you’d be mortified to learn that he’d never seen more blood at one instant than what was on display below his and his wife’s seat.
Habib Batah says he was traveling from Paris to Toronto on June 30 on a flight with Air France. Everything was going well until the devasting encounter.
The flight attendant provided the passenger with gloves and wet wipes. She also told him to take precautions and changed the seat immediately.
Air France was reportedly contacted to provide an update on the matter. And that’s when the shocking discovery was announced related to how a passenger from a previous flight had suffered from hemorrhage and that was the blood from his system still there.
The airline was forced to face fierce criticism on how such behavior wouldn’t be tolerated in the future as dry blood was a source of contamination and health hazard aboard any given flight.
