Actor Kevin Costner wants the world to know that he’s ready to move on, even if they are not.
The leading star could be seen mentioning how his divorce and very public split from Christine Baumgartner might have seemed like the worst thing in the world.
However, he admits that it was so necessary. The Yellowstone actor says he’s been facing a lot of criticism lately on the matter and many call him out for being a poor dad.
But the celeb feels he had to do what he felt was best for him. The children did suffer at the time and they never wished to see their family fall apart the way they did, the actor explained.
Both Costner and Baumgartner are said to have moved on with the former open to meeting new people while the latter is all set to get married again.
“I did not wish to wilt like a flower. My kids do understand where I am coming from right now and they support me 100% That is all I need”- the actor went on to add.
Costner has denied hooking up with singer Jewel despite many adding how the chemistry between the pair was unmissable.
“My kids are what keeps me going every single day. They are my rock and my world and nothing can ever change that”- he revealed
