Old footage showing Michigan school shooter Ethan Crumbley swaying and falling at his workplace has emerged.
The clip, which was obtained by DailyMail.com, shows the 15-year-old student who has been charged with murder and terrorism swaying before falling and bumping his head while working at a diner in Oxford.
The incident allegedly took place back in September 2020 when the suspected Oxford High School shooter worked at the 5-1 Diner.
According to the restaurant’s owner, Crumbley worked at his restaurant on several occasions, whereas he was filling in for another staff member on the day of the incident.
In the video, Crumbley is seen entering the restaurant’s kitchen before stumbling suddenly and collapsing onto the floor in a bizarre fashion. As he fell, the teenager bumped his head into a nearby cabinet.
After the fall, the staff helped Ethan back on his feet and called his parents. After his mother, Jennifer, arrived at the restaurant, she allegedly told them that “not eating” enough was to be blamed for the fall.
“We sent him home. The mom said it was just because he didn’t eat anything. It seems a lot for that to just be not eating,” the owner revealed in an interview with DailyMail.com.
It has since also come to light that 18-year-old Eli, Ethan’s half-brother, previously also worked at the same diner. He, too, was involved in trouble, whereas the staff allegedly caught him smoking marijuana in the back room.
After the owner confronted the boy about his actions and threatened to call his parents, Eli allegedly responded by saying: “Where do you think I got it from?”
The 18-year-old reportedly moved out of his home in March 2020 to go live with his biological mother, suggesting that family issues of some sort could possibly be behind the rift between him and his family.
