A politician from France has called upon the US to return the Statue of Liberty which was sent as a gift nearly 140 years back as a sign of friendship between the two countries.

French socialists explained how it was a gift from the French but after seeing Trump side with the tyrants, it was about time the US gave this up.

The left-wing politician mentioned how the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia was proof of what was going on and it was just unacceptable to see Russia and US side as one after knowing what heinous crimes Putin has committed.

Speaking during a recent party convention, he explained to the crowd that the US was a devil with Trump in charge and it was appalling to see them side with Russia.

‘We gave it to you as a gift but apparently, you despise it so it’s about time you gave that up!’- they continued to mention.

The White House Press secretary was seen speaking on this matter in detail. She says that the monument will stay in the US because it belongs in the US. Therefore, France’s demands of getting it back were out of the question and rejected there and then.
