Social media is believed to have entered into a state of a frenzy recently after joking that they managed to spot the Queen hiding in the crowd at the legendary five-day-long Glastonbury Festival.
The mysterious woman who is yet to be identified got plenty of fame as her Majesty’s doppelganger. At that time, the woman happened to be viewing renowned artist Robert Plant taking the stage at the famous Worthy Farm music event.
The woman was seen donning a blue-toned rain mac that came complete with a hood and dark shades and it certainly wouldn’t be wrong to say that she ticked all the right boxes to make anyone assume that she was the Queen dressed up in disguise.
Before you know it, the apparent ‘Queen look alike’ began dancing to some tunes as well. Hence, that is when the camera of renowned UK media agency BBC pinned in on the woman while it started to scan the audience members.
As you can probably expect, that rattled up an entire storm on social media for those who happened to be following the event from their homes.
Twitter was soon abuzz with one viewer going as far as writing: “It’s so lovely to see the Queen enjoying a bit of Robert Plant at Glastonbury!”
And just like that, the comments began to flow in where people added how her Majesty was in disguise but that disguise was sure not to fool anyone.
The rather amusing incident is said to have come at a point in time when reports claim the Queen has defied all the doctors and has now opted to get back into the saddle. This is just days after she was pictured without her handy stick, which she is known to have relied on in the past.
