Madonna is speaking out after the sudden and tragic death of her younger brother yesterday.
Christopher Ciccone passed away yesterday at the age of 63 after a long battle with cancer. The news was confirmed by his rep who mentioned the tragedy to media outlet The Post.
The 66-year-old music icon’s rep responded to the claims about the death in a heartfelt statement that was published online. This included how he died peacefully from cancer on Friday in Michigan.
Now, Madonna is releasing a statement on the grieving incident and how she is at a loss for words in this matter.
“My brother Christopher is gone. He was the closest human being in my life and was with me for so long. It’s so hard to explain the type of bond we had but it arose from an understanding that we were so different”- she continued.
Madonna also tragically spoke about how society would also be judging them for being different and not following the status quo.
The Queen of Pop recalled how they used to take one another’s hands and walk through the madness of childhood. Every dance felt like superglue for them as that is the beautiful bond that held them together.
