Matthew Perry’s co-star Lisa Kudrow is reportedly thinking about adopting the actor’s death after his sudden death at 54.

The Chandler Bing actor was found dead in the jacuzzi at his Los Angeles home on Saturday.

A source close to his co-star Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe in the NBC sitcom Friends, now broke her silence and claimed that the actress believes Perry might have died from medication that took effect while he was relaxing in the hot tub.

“Although no one wants to believe it was medication – prescribed or not – of course that is a thought in their minds,” the source said, DailyMail.com reported.

“They are thinking he must have taken something that did not mix with the warm water.”

While Perry previously opened up about his battle with addiction and substance abuse, he in recent interviews insisted he was sober and clean. Moreover, sources reported that no drugs were found at the actor’s home.

The investigation into his death currently remains ongoing with drowning listed as the actor’s most likely cause of death.

Surprised and shocked by the saddening news, Kudrow allegedly suggested the entire “gang” was taken aback by the news while vowing to attend Perry’s funeral.

The actress also suggested she might adopt Matthew’s dog, Alfred, who joined his family three years ago.

The news comes shortly after the funnyman’s family rallied at his home and spoke out in a short but powerful statement.

“We are heartbroken by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and a friend,” they said.

“You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
