Donald Trump wants the world to know that he’s taking full credit for the Gaza ceasefire deal.
The new president-elect refused to acknowledge President Biden for his role in the agreement. Instead, he appeared on live television before Biden to make the bizarre statement as if he had an upper hand in orchestrating it.
Trump called it the most epic deal and was happy to see the way things played out. He hoped the truce could benefit both sides and many of the hostages held in captivity with Hamas would be released.
Amongst those included Americans, insiders confirmed.
Biden soon appeared to deliver the glad tidings during a press conference and when asked if Trump and his new team had a role in finalizing the outcome, he simply nodded.
Biden also shared how it was a tough sell but he did express full confidence how the deal would hold and the war would finally come to an end after 15 months.
‘This is one of the toughest negotiations that I’ve ever witnessed in my life!’- he shared.
The deal will reportedly feature three phases and hostages from the US will be released as part one. Moreover, five Americans are said to be alive and in captivity and are looking forward to coming home soon.
