Serena William was seen slamming the entire Parisian hotel recently because she alleged that they denied her and her family access to the rooftop area.
According to reports from local media outlets, the star is in the city for the Olympics and according to her, not being allowed to sit on the rooftop left her stunned.
She added how the entire restaurant was empty and when she requested to sit in a more quiet and serene environment which was the rooftop, she had a hard time understanding why she was not allowed to.
The star not only asked the management to rethink their decision but also questioned if they knew who she was. And if that was not enough, the words, ‘You are going to reject me?’- came out of her mouth.
Many viewers felt the star was displaying a very entitled nature and therefore could have handled the situation more humanely. But to lash out at the fine dining eatery was absurd, another added.
Since then, the restaurant has been under fire for reportedly denying her access. This has led them to speak out, especially when claims of racism are attached to them.
They released a statement that spoke about how they did not deny access to anyone and rubbished any claims made of racism. Some did show support for the tennis legend while others asked her to grow up and stop whining like an entitled celeb.
