It was one emotional moment for Ukraine’s President Zelensky who recently received a hero’s salute for his appeal to the European Union.

According to Ukraine’s President, his country has been torn apart by war with hundreds being killed each day. But despite the immense amount of pressure he is receiving on a daily basis, Zelensky says he’s unwilling to back down and will do anything and everything in his power to defend his country.

Today, the brave and composed President tried his best to put his emotions aside while trying to address the entire EU assembly. However, that did not work out as he could be seen pouring his heart and soul out in front of hundreds while discussing his country’s desperate current state.

The parliamentarians from the EU joined him via a video link from Kyiv, moments after devastating news broke about a massive 40 miles long Russian military convoy on its way to Ukraine.

This comprised of Russian tanks as well as state-of-the-art artillery with on intent in mind. And that includes surrounding as well as bombing the entire city until they take over completely.

Russia has urged civilians from Ukraine to take shelter and flee as fast as they can as they promise to attack many leading structures such as the headquarters of Ukraine’s security forces as well as the country’s leading television tower that was recently under attack.

This has left the nation in a desperate condition as channels were prevented from broadcasting news by the minute.

But despite all of this chaos, Zelensky has urged the EU to swiftly recognize Ukraine as one of its members which is definitely a move that would infuriate Vladamir Putin to a great extent.

In the end, the President was acknowledged as he hailed ‘glory to Ukraine’ before leaving while displaying a raised fist after receiving a standing ovation from the audience.
