A gambler from Australia has reportedly lost all of the $160,000 that he had put as a bet when predicting the verdict for the FIFA World Cup match between Argentina and Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia made history after a shocking defeat against Argentina with the odds of the former winning being 500:1. But it happened and that meant $160,000 went down the drain in an instant.

Lionel Messi’s squads were seen holding their heads with their hands while a few shed a tear as this was not something that any fan, follower, or expert could have ever predicted.

This is also Lionel Messi’s final world cup campaign and the star player had hoped to exit FIFA but with such a jaw-dropping defeat, he and other fellow team members are going to find it hard to make a major comeback after this huge setback.

For those who may not be aware, Messi’s squad is currently the champions in the world of soccer in South America. They’ve been a team that many fear with many star players being a part of the squad.

But Saudi Arabia was definitely a class apart in today’s match and they really brought on their game.
