Actor Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakwa’s wills were shared after one month since their tragic deaths.
The actor left his $80M Hollywood fortune to his partner Betsy, who was a successor trustee to his trust.
It’s not clear if his three kids from his previous marriage to Faye Maltese were left anything in the will.
The possible omission of his kids, who he remained far off from, has the possibility of raising a legal battle over his fortune, sources shared.
Speaking to media outlet Daily Mail, if he died first and she had survived, it would have been a battle like World War III, the expert shared.
His kids would have gone crazy to know that, the insider shared. In her will, Betsy added her assets to a trust which she felt would be distributed to a reputable charity organization and the settlement for different kinds of medical debts.
Hackman, who suffered from Alzheimer’s, seemed to sign the most recent copy of his will in the year 2005 and didn’t seem to make any kind of change after that. It’s not clear right now when he was diagnosed with the progressive neurodegenerative disease.
