The mother says turning 50 was a milestone moment in her life but she does wish she was younger because let’s face it, no one wants to grow old.
Despite being 50, she still gets great compliments from many including her local grocery market who fails to believe her real age.
A recent incident involved her going off on an errand where the cashier insisted she display her ID before giving her the liberty to purchase tobacco.
She insisted that she was way over the age restriction but still, the fact that they demanded ID had her feeling surprised and fabulous at the same time.
The mom of two named Abbi Franklin, who has two grown daughters aged 17 and 23, mentioned how she was fortunate to have her ID in her bag. ‘I don’t usually carry it but I’m so glad that I did’- she continued.
Today, she’s more flattered than ever and says to other women out there that staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle does pay off at some point in life.
