A 31-year-old woman is turning heads after getting engaged to her 56-year-old teacher. But she is not afraid to confess that she approached her through social media and things fell into place.
But netizens are not convinced and they claim the teacher groomed her into falling in love, thanks to the massive 25-year age gap between the two.
“People say all sorts of stuff to us. They claim she groomed me and whatnot. But that’s not true. She was my favorite teacher and I was always her favorite student. We connected, talked, fell in love, and now we’re here!”- she explained.
The massive age gap not only bothered her followers on social media but her loved ones too. So many people thought the teacher had worked hard over the years to groom her into marrying her due to the 25-year age gap.
31-year-old Monica Ketchum who hails from Big Rapids in Michigan revealed how she searched long and hard on Facebook to find her mentor. She did not have too much hope attached to finding her teacher but in the end, it did work out for her.
56-year-old Michelle Foster was shocked when her favorite student approached her on social media. She did not know what to make of it and the duo were seen catching up at lunch. Day by day, they grew close to one another and shared a fondness that even they did not know would exist.
With time, the friendship got a little too intense until it was very clear that they shared a romantic connection. Monica proposed to her teacher and she returned the favor by popping the question back toward her. And that was the start of their beautiful connection that they take great pride in.
