A top doctor from California was recently shot and killed in a horrifying ambush incident that took place outside his clinic in Los Angeles.
According to reports from local media outlets, the incident arose a few months after he was targeted in a terrifying baseball bat incident.
For now, the motive of this deadly attack remains undercover. Hamid Mirshojae was killed while walking towards his vehicle that was parked at a parking lot in Woodland Hills Medical Clinic and Urgent Care. This was right after 5:30 pm, one hour post his clinic’s usual closing time.
The LA Police Department managed to arrive after 45 minutes since the physician suffered from a gunshot injury and lay near his white SUV.
The doctor worked as a top primary care and ER physician and despite paramedics rushing him to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
As per the KCAL, several casings of bullets were located nearby. For now, the suspect is yet to be identified but it’s believed he managed to get away by running on his foot, fleeing from the scene immediately.
Police confirmed how they strongly believed just one gunman was involved in the tragic act. However, they refused to give out any more details on this front including no description of his appearance and what their possible motive may have been.
