A father is receiving plenty of criticism across the board after he was pictured recently carrying his giant pet while walking down the street.
While there appears to be nothing wrong with that behavior, one thing that’s worth a mention is how his young son was pictured right by his side and he was forced to walk along the way.
Therefore, the matter has started a new debate online and people are baffled in terms of what to make of it. After all, pets are also family members but making the child walk and holding the dog had people confused as to what the matter was all about.
The news was shared by one TikTok user who goes by the name Luz Elena. She says it’s just baffling as to why a father would do this.
A lot of people were taken aback at the size of the dog. He was far from tiny, actually very large indeed. And the son was half his size. Therefore, many hoped the father would take notice and perhaps provide some sort of a justification on the matter.
Meanwhile, the caption of the video went on to read, ‘When the priority is your dog and not your child!’- and some felt the caption fit so well.
The video managed to gain a striking 4.5 million views in no time. And as you can imagine, the comments section was full of all types of suggestions.
While some agreed that the father had lost the plot, others were speaking about how he probably had a good enough reason to behave in this manner and so shouldn’t be judged so brutally.
There were also quite a few who applauded the dad for giving his son nice and clean exercise which is rare in today’s day and age.
