Prince Harry is doing his very best to be the perfect uncle to his little nephew Prince Louis.
According to reports from local media outlets, Prince Louis’ $10,000 Disney-themed birthday gift has come from Harry himself. But there appears to be a special sort of meaning attached to just that.
Harry mentioned how the present was inspired by his beloved mother, Princess Diana.
Harry has often shared some great and fond memories of his mom Diana with his children and it’s no surprise that he would like to continue with the tradition for William and Kate’s kids too.
He’s now channeling a very cherishing memory of his christening present for Louis, royal insiders mentioned.
The Duke of Sussex ended up honoring Diana’s massive passion for collecting the first edition by stating a very similar tradition for the kids.
The gift featured a 1926 edition of A. A Milne’s Winnie the Pooh. One source mentioned how this was one of Harry’s happiest moments from his childhood memories where he was read this as a bedtime story by his mother.
She adored all sorts of classics and Harry had the brilliant idea of beginning a little library featuring first editions of all the little kids including Louis, Charlotte, and George so that as they get older, they can remember the greatness that these memories bring forward.
