Tragic reports have confirmed the death of a 3-year-old girl who was reportedly found dead under the most tragic circumstances.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to mention how she passed away by drowning in the toilet pit of her own primary school.
The victim was identified as Langalam Viki who sources claimed was missing for nearly an entire day. Her parents lodged a complaint with the cops, hoping they would trace her down but that was not the case.
But as rescue teams and officials began the search, they found her body inside a pit toilet. She had drowned and now, they’re expecting foul play.
The incident reportedly took place in the Glen Gray area in South Africa at a known primary school in the region. But little did the family realize that their child would not be safe at school because this behavior was just too appealing for them.
The family claims they’re so worried that the child could have been murdered as they seek more answers from the authorities about this horrifying and heartbreaking event.
“No amount of words can describe the pain I feel at this moment in time. The pain is so unbearable and I have not been able to sleep in weeks. My baby did not deserve this. She was an innocent child”- the mother revealed in the most tragic interview recently.
An NGO by the name of Amnesty International says they are very worried about the end result of the investigation and if the authorities can provide answers to this devastating incident in time.
They hope tragic incidents like these can force the authorities to come forward and eradicate pit toilets forever because the pain that this family is going through should never be repeated in the future again.
