A nine-month-old baby girl was horrifically burned at a daycare center in North Carolina recently.
According to reports from local media outlets, she suffered terrifying third-degree burns that left her parents in a stage of shock, tragedy, and fury.
The moment was called out as every parent’s nightmare after a bottle warmer allegedly spilled all across her body while she happened to be at the Daycare center.
The family of the child named Addison Starnes who hails from Concord in North Carolina mentioned how the child would now require two surgeries to repair her skin that has been burned terrifyingly.
The incident arose in the childcare of Concord Children’s Academy during the last week of February. She is said to have suffered from the worst third-degree burns on the neck, chin, stomach, chest, arms, and back.
Attorneys for that specific family added how they believe Addison was inside a wheelchair to get her bottle when the bottle warmer became overturned. This caused the water inside the warmer to spill over and burn the little child.
She was airlifted to a nearby pediatric ICU burns center and that is where she happens to be getting her treatment at this moment in time.
