A young and beautiful girl has reportedly lost her smile after being brutally mauled by her own family’s pet dog.
According to reports from local media outlets, the young child was rushed to a nearby hospital after suffering the most intense and critical injuries to her face. And now, her mother is breaking her silence for the first time after this ordeal.
The victim’s mother was identified as Rebekka Bolline who says her three-year-old daughter named Emily was met with the most brutal and savage attack from their family dog.
This was an incident that no one saw coming, she went on to mention. And now, her daughter is struggling with each passing day due to the pet.
The mother says she feels so much guilt for the incident because she was the one who brought this pooch home from an animal care shelter. But little did she or anyone else know what it was capable of.
“My baby lost her smile. This was every parent’s worst nightmare come true. I just do not even know what to make of it”- she further explained.
It’s even more tragic because her daughter was the one who had always wished to have a pet dog. But little did she know that it would come to haunt her for the rest of her life.
Little Emily was left in the most debilitating condition imaginable. She was forced to undergo life-saving surgery and a lot of reconstruction procedures over time.
Emily’s face was clear that it had been bitten off, and it scared the doctors too who told her mother that she was lucky to survive the brutal incident but would never to able to same the same sort of facial symmetry again as well as the related functions.
