The split between Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady is turning ugly and could take on a “very nasty” turn, sources suggest.

Weeks ago, it has come to light that the supermodel and the NFL quarterback are parting ways with insiders claiming that the reason for the rift between the pair was Brady’s return to the field just weeks after he announced he was retiring from football.

Now, it has been confirmed that Bündchen is “ready to fight” and that she has already hired Florida’s top divorce lawyer who previously represented Tiger Woods and Jeff Gordon.

It is said that the model is getting ready for a potentially long and expensive legal battle after ditching her wedding ring and hiring Tom Sasser to help her split assets, including several properties, with the football legend.

“Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight,” one source told Page Six.

“Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world.”

The news comes after it was revealed that Bündchen and Brady had been living separately for several weeks after allegedly having a massive fight.

“I don’t think there will be any coming back now,” one insider suggested.

“They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”

The high-profile divorce comes after Gisele was reportedly angered by Tom’s decision to resume his football career after retiring to spend more time with his wife and children.

“They had agreed he would retire to focus on the family, then he changed his mind,” a source previously said.
