Legendary music titan Quincy Jones has reportedly died at the age of 91.
Acccording to reports from local media outlets, the 28 time Grammy winner’s publicist was the first to break the news to the world, leaving the music industry in grief.
He shared how the star passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his loved ones during this difficult time in Los Angeles at his residence.
The statement went on to read how the family is broken but they must share the loss of a father and brother, Quincy Jones. It also read how it’s an incredible loss to the family but they are so grateful that he was able to live and celebrate life to the best of his ability.
They also shared how there will never be a person like him. The music star’s final post was published on Instagram on Saturday which was shared by his daughter. It was in honor of her 58th birthday and how lucky she was to have her dad by her side.
The star shared how he was so proud to be her dad and sent her a lot of love and hugs.
Jones was arguably one of the most multifaceted celebs of the industry. During his career, he worked alongside all the big superstars and one of his biggest claims to fame is his production of Michael Jackson’s hit album Thriller.
