Things appear to be getting worse for Russia and for that reason, Vladimir Putin has given Belarus the green signal to join in on the war against Ukraine.

While it’s still not confirmed how many troops from Belarus will be allowed or where exactly they will be deployed, it’s quite clear that they are going to be assisting Russian forces in invading Ukraine.

This news was confirmed by one official from the US who chose to remain anonymous, as revealed on Monday by the Washington Post.

The reports come at a time when a recent referendum in Belarus approved for a new constitution that would go about ditching the nation’s status as being non-nuclear. This means it is now free to host weapons belonging to Russia.

The American official shed light upon how clear it was that the capital of Belarus is actually an extension for the Kremlin.

This event could turn out to be historic as it would be the first time ever that nuclear weapons could be seen on Belarus’s soil, ever since the nation gave it up, after the Soviet Union’s fall.

Sources spoke about how Belarus has been a keen provider of support during the current Ukraine invasion by Russia’s military. However, it is yet to take part in the conflict directly.

The revelation comes just hours after the state security service in Ukraine officially gave out reports of a rocket attack upon Zhytomyr Airport.

In the same way, viral images featuring special forces being loaded onto planes to prepare for an air assault upon Kyiv were also taking place, clearly signaling a widening of the ongoing war, as explained by sources from the military.
