President Biden’s son Hunter Biden faces up to 25 years in prison after being found guilty at his recent gun trial.
According to reports from local media outlets, Hunter’s verdict was called out as dramatic for all the right reasons as he was found guilty of all three criminal charges linked to his high-profile trial.
The jury in Delaware gave rise to a unanimous vote to convict the President’s son on two counts including lying on a form of the federal government to purchase a gun and also for carrying a firearm while abusing drugs.
The jurors in the case are believed to have deliberated for a little less than three hours after the trial which lasted for more than one week took center stage.
This news is believed to be a fast and historic conviction that marks the first time that we witness a current US president having his own son be convicted guilty of a federal crime.
Hunter was seen nodding slowly with resignation as the verdicts were being read out loud.
This conviction is also set to put to test a statement made by Biden where he vowed to respect the court’s decision and not pardon his son if the verdict found him guilty of the crime.
