A gunman has reportedly stormed into a school and killed at least three people.
According to reports from local media outlets, the incident took place at about 10:15 in the morning local time in Sanski Most. This is the northwest of Bosnia.
Three people lost their lives due to gunfire while another was left seriously injured that day. The injured were transferred to a nearby hospital as per one spokesperson who was familiar with the matter.
He explained how the suspected gunman is now in police custody but his main objective was to instill fear by ambushing the teachers inside.
Other reports spoke about the victims being named locally by the school director as parents rushed to learn the fate of their kids’ mentors after finding out the terrifying news on television.
Most of the teachers were located inside the gymnasium at the local school at 10:15 am when the incident arose.
