Kamala Harris has officially conceded the election to Donald Trump in a recent speech where she spoke to her devastated fans in Washington DC.
The heartbroken former US VP made it clear to her political party that this was not the victory that they were looking for and things did not go as they had planned.
Nevertheless, she congratulated Donald Trump and his party for winning fair and square, making a phone call to let him know her sentiments.
Many applauded Harris for taking the loss in a great manner and with great dignity instead of playing any blame game.
She thanked her supporters for always being by her side and said that her heart is very full today, adding how she loves and trusts her country so much.
‘I am so proud of the race that I ran and I can walk out with my head held up high’- she added.
She agreed that this not the outcome that any Democrat would want for obvious reasons, as it was not what they look for or what they have voted for. ‘America’s light will never go out as long as we never give up with the fighting’ – she added.
