The King and Prince and Princess of Wales were seen publicly wishing Prince Harry on the occasion of his 40th birthday yesterday.
Many saw this as a signal of peace offering and providing an olive branch.
Meanwhile, both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace posted through their channels on social media within a few hours of each other how it was a marvelous occasion to celebrate.
The news came as the Duke of Sussex made ways to prepare for the birthday celebrations in California.
This is the first time in three years that the Royal Family acknowledged his birthday on the X app and Instagram. They do the same for all working royals and it was also the first time in two years since they last mentioned him in any kind of capacity.
Privately, it was mentioned how this was simply in line with tradition and therefore public good wishes were shared for significant members, even those who are no longer working royals.
Both Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew have had their landmark birthdays celebrated in this manner in the past. This is even though they had some serious concerns and issues with the Royal Family.
What was interesting to note is that the image used to wish the Duke of Sussex was the same one where Meghan Markle had been intentionally cropped. The original feature did entail Meghan Markle but the Palace made it a point that this was not the case, this time around.
