Prince Harry is not getting a lot of love from his fans for calling the US his new home.
The star was seen changing a new set of documents where he listed the US as his primary residence, for the first time.
Many anticipated the change to come soon as the former US President vowed to have him deported if and when he gets re-elected as President of the country. But that does not seem to be a worry on Harry’s mind.
The news has left British fans and those who support the royal family in shock while did not hesitate to mention how he was displaying the true signs of a traitor.
Another person went on to shun the Duke of Sussex for finding the act alright and then another wondered if he was doing this after more severed ties with the family as he is yet to visit his father and sister-in-law who are dealing with cancer.
It’s not quite clear right now if that would impact his current duties or position in the royal family but it does mean a mighty change legally. Harry explained how the US is his new home but the UK is where he originates from.
Keeping that in mind, he was seen speaking about how the UK is not somewhere where he feels his kids can live freely or with safety.
“This mainly has to do with safety reasons. My family is my number one priority and I cannot see them go through what my mother did”- he added.
Harry did try to cover things up by adding how the UK is central to his heritage and he’s always made it important to let his kids learn more about his roots. This was mentioned through a written statement as well that he read out loud in a London court when he was denied protection for his family when visiting the UK.
