Prince Harry has made it very clear to the world that he will not take part in watching the latest season of ‘The Crown’.
The Duke of Sussex mentioned how the latest season features scenes from the tragic death of Princess Diana that he says holds a very sad place in his heart. Speaking to Page Six recently during an interview, insiders claim that he’s devastated at what’s being reenacted and adds how he’s got no interest in seeing it.
The last season of the popular show on Netflix portrayed Diana during the final days of her life as she engaged in a romantic relationship with leading film producer Dodi Fayed, up until they both died in a tragic car crash. This took place in Paris, toward the end of August in the year 1997.
The late Princess is shown in a bizarre manner, where her ghost talks to her former husband Prince Charles, and also her mother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth. Meanwhile, Fayed is also seen being brought back as a specter.
Harry is then seen waking up in his bed and that’s when he reacts to the tragic news of his mother’s passing away while his brother William watches on in horror and silence.
The series also features the final conversation arising between both Harry as well as Diana, and at the time, the Prince was just 12 years old during her untimely death.
Meanwhile, another source was seen speaking about the sensitivity that such content features during the upcoming episodes of The Crown.
Therefore, Prince Harry has opted to not see the whole season and also added how the grief that he feels for his mother can never be overcome.
That also affected his mental health significantly and therefore, he’s not keen on seeing anything of that sort again.
Meanwhile, Royal onlookers ended up questioning how Harry and Meghan felt the need to speak so openly about not seeing The Crown from Netflix, yet having a multi-million dollar deal with the popular streamer that may work in light of ‘The Crown’.
