It appears that an olive branch has been extended by the Queen during Harry and Meghan’s recent secret meeting with the Queen at Windsor.
According to local media reports, not only has the couple been invited and requested to attend the mega celebrations, the Queen has reportedly gone as far as giving them an offer to make the classic Buckingham Palace balcony appearance that many are anxiously awaiting.
While it is still not confirmed whether or not Harry and Meghan will attend but if they do, it’s definitely something that fans and well-wishers would be more than fond of.
Insider reports have confirmed that the Duke and Duchess’s appearance would not be a formal one as they no longer hold any royal titles or obligations that would expect them to behave a certain way.
In case they do say yes to the high-profile appearance, they will certainly be expected to be in attendance for a number of other events that are lined up for the grand occasion like the classic Thanksgiving service at St. Paul’s Cathedral.
But many critics and close aides are very skeptical about the couple coming in as it would certainly be a major step from all directions after their exit from the United Kingdom put the entire family in crisis.
Harry was seen making some major confessions during a recent interview with NBC where he shed light upon his meeting with the Queen and how he had arrived for her protection, adding how he needed to make sure she was well guarded and surrounded by the right people.
“It was so great to see my dear grandmother ahead of the Invictus Games. She’s got a great sense of humor”- he claims.
