Harry Styles and Sam Smith recently united at the Grammys to represent the United Kingdom in what is being described as a first on the star-studded Red Carpet on Sunday.
The famous musicians did not shy away from staying true to their roots as they flew the British flag at the American event that took place in Los Angeles.
Both performers who hail from the United Kingdom made it a point to stand out with their fashion choices. And that included colorful numbers that were bold and managed to make a fashion statement in more ways than one.
Harry Styles was seen opting for a multi-colored patchwork design that was definitely interesting and different from what most of us are accustomed to seeing.
Meanwhile, Sam Smith was observed donning a red number that many felt was a true representation of the devil. Even his on-stage performance featured a red-colored devil’s headgear that so many individuals thought was going well with the satanic theme.
But others disagreed and felt they were worshipping the devil and hence his performance was disturbing to watch.
But the common factor between both of these stars is how they both chose to wave the UK flag on the star-studded red carpet, despite being in a different country altogether.
Hitmaker Harry also won the most prestigious award of the evening which was ‘Album of the Year’ and it’s safe to say that he was not expecting it.
He was seen giving an unprecedented speech that shocked plenty as it appeared he did not know what to say and didn’t quite think before speaking.
Meanwhile, so many others expected Beyonce to win the award and also figured she was more deserving as her album Renaissance was certainly a hit like no other. Hence, it wouldn’t be wrong to say Harry’s win did upset quite a few individuals.
