If you happen to be a Harry Potter fan then this next piece of news is definitely for you.
Sources from local media outlets have confirmed how Warner Bros. is making sure fans of the hit JK Rowling endeavor get the most out of the beloved book series by launching an entire television series online.
Each series will reportedly be based on a single book so that means saying hello to several differnet series that celebrate a different theme as portrayed in the famous JK Rowling collection.
But before the deal gets signed, we’re hearing about some more controversies including how the author will not be getting any form of credit for the show’s creator, shocking critics. After all, it was her idea, to begin with.
The streaming project is something unique and despite books being launched more than decades ago, this is the first time that an online television series is going to get streamed.
As per reports from Bloomberg, we’re going to be saying hello to seven fantasy novels coming to life and how exactly they are brought about is a mystery right now as this entire project is still very new.
The franchise’s creator is still in the early phase of talks with the producer regarding Rowling’s role in this entire project so as of right now, there is yet to be any major announcement on that front.
As it is, the famous author has been the subject of mega controversy in terms of her views on some very sensitive topics. This includes the topic of transgenders where her remarks were deemed to be highly insensitive and not at all thought out well.
For this reason, even the franchise opted to take a step back and distance their relationship as she faced fierce criticism across the board.
