McEwen spoke about how things didn’t go his way and therefore he got silver on that day. But when asked about sharing medals, he says no, there’s no such thing.

He was asked to do a jump-off and he was all for it. After a tough battle, it was the Flying Kiwi who got first place and took home gold. Further adding, he explained that there is only one winner and they each represent their own family and nation. There’s no such thing as sharing in sports, he continued.

He admitted that taking part in that jump-off was a mutual decision and if asked to do it again, he would.
